Product Description Description This upgrade gives your Tippmann 98, 98 Custom, or Custom Pro Paintball gun the Mil-Sim Assault Style look, will also fit the BT-16 paintball gun. The Barrel is 16" in length and provides extreme accuracy. This is a much better barrel than the other Mil-Sim Barrels. It is ported for stealth. The shroud is much larger and realistic. These are brand new with warranty. The orange cap is just too show that this is not an actual military barrel. The barrel you get will not come with the orange cap.

Great barrel! May 20, 2010 Raymond D. Mcknight (Kenosha, Wi) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
ok first of all this barrel came lightning quick, i ordered it on a saturday at 12:30 a.m. and it was delivered on monday. when i put the barrel on my gun it almost lined up perfectly but when i shot it i was a little disappointed... everyone was raving about how much further the ball travels and how straight they travel but my shots kept dropping...not even hitting the target from 20 yards...then soon after a few more shots, i was out of air. got the tank refilled and BAM! i was smokin the targets i had set up from 30-35 yards away. even further if i had the room, great awesome barrel, just dont use cheap paintballs, i ran out of my good ones so i was in a hurry and got cheap-o's and woooo boy they didnt fly straight after that...3 out of 10 would hit the target while the rest would go every which direction but at the target. great barrel at a cheap price!!
Everthing and more then expected May 18, 2010 P. Aranda Alright first off the price is awesome! fits my 98 custom perfect. here are the things I should point out before buying this though
1. you will need a allen set (requires two allens a 1/16 and then the smallest one that comes with your gun) cost about $3.99 for a small set, good to have anyways
2. will need to take shroud off because will not line up if you just screw it on. (it's really not that hard to do) easiest way to do it is to screw on the barrel first then slide shroud on to get lined up and tighten screws.
3. The barrel is a RAP4 barrel
All in all a great add on to my 98 custom.
Great upgrade at unbeatable price March 29, 2010 Kevin Heath (Largo, Fl United States) This barrel is especially recommended for the Tippman US Army Alpha Black paintball marker. The appearance of this barrel is very close to an M-4 carbine, which is the only stock part of the Alpha Black that does not look real. Be advised that you will need two allen wrenches to install and secure this barrel to your paintball gun. There are tiny hex-screws that use the smallest sized allen wrenches available along the base of the barrel, and you will need to have a set available to be able install or modify the barrel. There are 3 super small hex screws and 2 tiny hex screws. Once you have attached the barrel to the gun, tightening all 5 of these screws will ensure you do not have the problems with the shroud and front-sight being loose as referenced in earlier reviews. You also need to remove the screws to install weaver rails, as you cannot remove the base mount (circular black plastic piece) while the hex screws are in place. This was the first, best and most important upgrade I performed on my Alpha Black paintball rifle.
Looks great, but breaks down and becomes loose. February 16, 2010 Kraig Bailey (Ketchikan, Alaska) 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
This Barrel is 16" and works great for long range accuracy. The price is reasonable and the items that you receive are just fine.
After a few uses you have to tighten the bolts back down because it starts to become loose and jiggle. The site starts to move around and the components on the barrel need to be re-adjusted. Not to mention when I got my barrel in the mail, I put it on and it was perfect upside down...
I would recommend this product to anyone who is trying to impress their friends, but when it comes to function it requires too much fix.
I got tired of it and took all the parts off the gun and now simply have a 16" barrel.
When it comes down to it, thanks... but no thanks.
Barrel looks great September 8, 2009 Roger A. Febles (new york) The Barel looks great and is pretty acurate it does add weight to the gun so definatly put a sling on it. Stock configuration was not centered on my gun but the allen key it comes with fixd that problem. Overall I like the way it feels and looks.
