Didn't like it June 7, 2010 Sean H. Thornton (savannah) Tried on my A-5, it sucked, shot slower and with no improved accuracy, didn't waste the time to put it on my son's custom 98.
maybe it was just a dud, I would not buy it again.
wastes co2 May 18, 2010 Zebulum C. Smith 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
this product sounds good in theory. . .didnt chop a single ball, BUT does not allow full use of the c02 you have the velocity set to. . it releases alot of co2 in the back of the gun. .
Began falling apart after 20 mintues December 28, 2009 Jack Michaelson (Middle East) 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
I replaced my stock bolt with the psychoballistic star fire delrin bolt and it worked great for the first 2-3 games. Midway through my 4th game of the day I began chopping balls like crazy and little bits of black plastic started shooting out of my barrel. I immediately took apart my gun and found that the delrin bolt was starting to chip and pieces were shaving off of it due to the cold of using CO2 with a egrip at full auto.
I guess the product would work well if you don't shoot at a high BPS rate but it will freeze up easily and begins to break down if you get it too frosty.
All in all it is a piece of crap and psychoballistics should be slapped for making such a low quality product. What ever happened to good old fashion sturdy aluminum parts? Why is everything these days made of cheap plastic? If I wanted a plastic paintball marker I would buy one from Fisher Price.
OKAY December 17, 2009 Gabriel A. Chavarria (Us) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
THIS BOLT DOES NOT FIT THE TIPPMANN 98 DIRECTLY SHAVE THE OUTSIDE SINCE ITS PLASTIC TO MAKE IT FIT BUT OTHER THEN THAT IT DOES ITS JOBS JUST ASK MY FIRNEDS AND THERE BRUSIES
Awxome bolt! August 20, 2009 Tony Ayala (Romeoville, IL) 0 out of 2 found this review helpful
I used this and now my 98 Custom does not fire below 374 feet per second. I love this. The marker is super accurate now and I think it fires better than when I had the flatline. I had to take the flatline off though since this bolt would make the rounds break in the barrel 95% of the time. Its a minor issue since the bolt is so usefull.
