I just got this barrel for my Alpha Black, and the threads fit fine, but the barrel is really low quality, and the barrel is so small on the inside that it takes so much air for a ball to go through, that one, the action wont cycle, and two, the ball doesn't go more then 25 feet! And I know that my air tank is full, so its not that...and when I put on the barrel it came with, it works fine...so its just a really bad, cheap, barrel.

Yeah this barrel is realy bad. i tried and it doesnt work good at all . it doesnt go more than 30 feet . the barrel tht the tippmann 98 comes with is better than this one. this is just some cheap barrel
